Архитектура здесь гармонично вливается в окружающий ландшафт с его роскошными пиниями, оливковыми деревьями и естественными террасами. Этот агломерат минералов и растительности доставляет наслаждение, которое усиливается впечатляющей архитектурой – гармония заполненного и свободного пространства, традиционный камень, современный пуризм с его белыми стенами, а также большие окна, из которых открывается вид на лесной массив.
Вокруг жилого пространствацарит вдохновленная американской пустыней атмосфера кактусов, гальки, напоминающей стеклянные брызги; тут же, неподалеку влажные тропики, в которых произрастают папоротники.
Все здесь пронизано вегетацией и традиционной архитектурой, заботой об уникальности.
Оформление входа ассоциируется с главными элементами вселенной "дзен": вода, вегетация и камень. При этом посетителю открываются прозрачные картины ландшафта и моря, так же как и архитектурный променад с его насыщенной программой. В глаза бросается то одно, то другое.
С наступлением ночи,естественное освещение сменяется огнями 250 фонарей на сценическом подиуме архитектуры, воды, рельефа и окружающего ландшафта – интерьер, в котором затихает всякая работа. Однако это не относится к музею кинематографии, где посетителя ожидает захватывающее зрелище. Здесь все в движении: неожиданные метаморфозы природы и архитектурного променада, с их меняющимся стилем и ритмом (пандусы, крутые и пологие лестницы, верхнее освещение, вид на залив, открытый горизонт). В то же время, внутренние дворики в своей неподвижности напоминают оазисы мира, покоя и отдыха. В оконных стеклах и рамах поэтическая общность конструкции и природы подчеркивается дизайном, воспроизводящим хаотичный узор стволов чащи или светотени.
Вода, как жизненно важный природный элемент,используется в интерьере, чтобы вывести его "наружу" к природе. Это тенденция усиливается архитектурным обрамлением многочисленных водоемов, водопадов и бассейнов. Все здесь созвучно поискам спокойствия "дзен".
Гибкость эксплуатации и комфорт этих двух домов обеспечивается электронным оборудованием, состав которого определяется сторонами, заинтересованными в проекте.

Enter an 11,000 m2 property focused on protection, calm and relaxation but also culture. The property is made up of two houses, the larger with a net floor area of 500m2, and the second, considered as a guest house, with 280m2: both have their own swimming pool.
These two reception areas are linked by a ribbon of antique paving stones forming a long pathway bordered with olive trees in clusters and straight lines. This sets the tone for the whole universe of the property, even down to the smallest detail. Old and new. An endless juxtaposition of substance and form. Old materials used in a modern way. Even the garden plants have been organised differently.
Every detail has been considered to cultivate the uniqueness of the property.
From the outset, it is obvious that each house has its own character, but joined by their specific location, opening in the South to a vista over the bay of Tahiti. The architecture fits perfectly into an already rich landscape of parasol pines and olive groves, complemented by numerous provençal restanque dry stone walls.
After this very mineral and vegetal beginning, a different type of vegetation accommodates the strong character of an architecture which associates solidity and space. Traditional stone coupled with the modernity of pure white rendering. The transparency of large windows which starkly bring into play the random shapes and colours of nature and the forest.
At one point the visitor moves from an arid area with cacti and pebbles, in tones of polished broken glass, inspired by the deserts of America, to the humidity of patios with tropical ferns.
Everything has been considered and re-thought to enhance the vegetation and architecture, but in non-traditional ways. Great care has been taken to make sure these differences work well together.
The entrance is designed around the same elements: water, vegetation and stone. A Zen environment. The visitor is drawn in by the effect. Moving towards the transparency of the view, the landscape, the sea, then alighting on the architectural promenade which leads to the rest of the property. There is always something to attract the visitor's attention.
At night, natural lighting is replaced by 250 lighted areas to illuminate the buildings, water, and the arrangement of the physical features of the landscape.
Everything can be seen from the interior. This is not simply two houses, but an instance of cinematographic museology, which draws the visitor in bated breath. Everything encourages movement. The eye of the visitor is forced to discover with surprise something different, a change of aspect and ambiance. The rhythm of the architectural experience is dictated by ramps, short stairs, long staircases, the frame of a vertical opening, then a horizontal opening. The patio provides a pause. A haven of tranquillity, calm, peace and quiet. The way the windows are placed and framed, forms a poetic communion between the construction and nature. The design of the solid surrounds reflects the random uncertainty of nature and the trunks of the trees. Sometimes thick, sometimes not, light then dark.
Water is a natural and indispensable element. It is used here to great effect to stretch and draw the interior towards the exterior. This supplementary ingredient accompanies the architecture in its poetry, through the use of numerous pools, water walls and swimming pools. A constant search for a state of Zen quietude.
Domotic home automation is an important part of the modernity of the project. It provides simple and flexible lifestyle solutions for both houses.
Everything in this detailed study underlines the uniqueness of the property.
